Developing scientific outlooks within geriatric medicine and promoting the performance of its members

Providing the opportunity for healthcare professionals in other specialities to contribute to the promotion of scientific and professional progress in geriatric medicine

Facilitating the exchange of productive, scientific, and professional innovation between the association and institutions inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Contribute to setting standards for practicing geriatric medicine and participate in monitoring and maintaining its performance

Responsibilities:

Holding conferences, symposia and seminars to discuss issues related to areas of interest

Conducting scientific research and publishing the results of this research and distributing it among all those who are interested for ease of access

Issuing a magazine or a periodical concerned with publishing studies related to areas of interest

Issuing awareness brochures as a means of health awareness to raise the level of knowledge and health literacy within geriatric medicine among the public

Carrying out scientific trips and organizing scientific and cultural competitions

Contribute to the continuing professional development (CPD) within geriatric medicine

Participation in local and international exhibitions and seminars

Inviting relevant scholars and thinkers to participate in the association's activities

Issuance of rules, guidelines, and clinical evidence within geriatric medicine

Participate in evaluating the academic qualifications and professional performance of practitioners in geriatric medicine in agreement with the relevant authorities

Providing technical advice to health authorities regarding health practices and activities, and evaluating health facilities to meet the best standard of care within geriatric medicine
